HiKey960开发板是基于华为Kirin960 SoC，其处理器采用了4 ARM® Cortex®-A73 MPCore(big Core 4 2.4G Hz) + 4 Cortex-A53 MPCore(LITTLE Core 1.8G) ARM big.LITTLE™技术，以及配以高性能的ARM Mali™-G71 MP8 3D图像处理器，同时配备了3GB LPDDR4-SDRAM内存以及32GB UFS2.0存储，支持Micro SD（SD3.0）插槽。

HiKey960 开发板符合Linaro 96boards开放式开发板规格，预留了丰富的标准外置I/O拓展接口，可应用与96Boards生态系统中的外部I/O设备，显示和摄像头。
